SOFTBALL PART TWO

So what do you do when you have a two hour break in between games?

Go to the Mall (Check)

Get something to eat (Check)

Go wash My Car (Check)

Hey lets go for a ride through the car wash!

Boy that was fun! Now lets clean the inside! :)

My car was nassssttttyyyy, but what do you expect when you are carting around a car load full of softball players who have red dirt all over them.

SOFTBALL SATURDAY!!!!

I know, I know y'all have all been patiently waiting to find out what I have been up to this weekend. Well wait no further.........

Friday was the start of another wonderful weekend of softball!!!! We had two games Friday night and then started Saturday day off with a game at 11:30 and needed to be at the field at 10:30. I drop Syd off at the gate so she can hurry and get on up there with her team mates, while I drive past her for a parking place. ( ok, ok I picked her back up and drove here the rest of the way)

First it starts to sprinkle. Now not those little sprinkles, its the onces that when one drop hits your head it runs down your head.

Here is my wonderful friend Melinda trying to stay out of the rain.

Here the girls try to take some shelter from the sprinkles. You know they are made of sugar and they will melt if they get to wet. The precious darlings.

Hey Syd and Haley are y'all shooting birds at people. No? Thats just some hand shake y'all are doing? The Spiderman Dance? Well alrighty then. :/

So we go to the dugout because its time to play ball!!

But guess what happens.................

The sprinkles turn to this..............

So the girls just hung out waiting for the rain to stop.

Well it keeps raining and raining and raining and raining and raining, oh sorry you want me to stop now. Just trying to put you in the moment.

So Coach H. went to find out what was going on. Are we delaying, are we cancelling, are we about to get struck by lighting?

Verdict we are playing as soon as this passes they are gonna get the fields ready.

So we are playing when they get this cleaned up? Yeah right!

So we wait....

And do hair (ya know cause we are girls)......

We say there is a moose on the other side of the ballfield. See it a moose over by that tree behind the light pole. See it!!!!

I think Syd and Val (yep her name is Valerie also, but she spells it wrong) need to go have their eyes checked what do yall think?

Ok, so you are probably sitting there saying, "Yep she has finally lost it, Valarie has finally gone a little wacko" .

Well nothing could be farther from the truth.

I got an award yesterday, from my wonderful friend Jennifer. So far that makes two that I have gotten. Both of them have been from Jennifer. So thank you ever so much. You are a super great person and I am so glad that we have become friends. One day we might even get to meet each other.

All wardrobes need the “The Perfect Black Pants”. They are an essential go to item in the closet. I have a pair that I got at New York & Co. for $5.99, yes you heard me right $5.99. I wear them all the time. They are a good thing to wear to church, to work, and unfortunately to funerals. We ran into this problem early this week when a friend of Jessie’s Father passed away. Jessie wasn’t sure what to wear. I told her that wearing a nice pair of black slacks and solid nice blouse of some type would be fine.

Ok sorry I am gonna go on a tangent here. I hate it when I go to a funeral and there are girls there in halter dresses and clear heeled shoes. You haven’t seen that at a funeral? Well come to Alabama and you will. Hey I can say that I live here. So if you are one who has done this, don’t do it again.

There I’m better, any who where was I oh yes Black Pants. Wearing an incorrect pair of black pants can be as bad as the dreaded “Mom Jeans”.

Make sure when you purchase them that they fall at an appropriate length above the floor. Please no “Flooding” allowed. Also make sure that if the waist is higher that you don’t tuck your shirt in. It could cause a “mega butt”, you know you don’t know wear it begins or ends.

If you have hail damage going on like I do, grab you a pair of lycra type things. You know spanx or something like that. It will smooth everything out, and all will be right with the world.

I think I broke Pioneer Womans new webpage. :( I went to post a comment and then it crashed. All I did was hit submit and it went bye-bye. Hopefully she will be back up in a little bit. I am having P-Dub withdrawals.

Have you ever had one of those days when just didn't know what to say? Well I am having one now. There's alot going on in this brain of mine, but I just cant think of what to blog about. :(

What was I pondering about you might ask? Thats a good question because I do not know. This was taken on the steps at a little cabin at a park in our home town. We were taking some Senior pictures of our nephew Kyle. I was just sitting there thinking, about who knows what.
