I have been a bit overwhelmed lately in the get things done department. I am only one woman, ya know. So yesterday I demanded enlisted the help of my daughter and niece.
You see my pantry had gotten lets just say a little out of control. When unloading items from the grocery store, I was lucky if they made it to the right spot let alone the pantry.
Now let me tell you just a little something about my middle child. I have to bribe, pull teeth, and threaten her to help clean. This might not be such a daunting task if I were home all the time, but working full time means I am not here to lay down the law all the time. Ask her to organize the pantry for you though and she is all over it! Woo Hoo! One less thing I have to do.
I did have to let go of some control issues here. If I am going to let her and the niece to this, I am going to have to let them do their thing. :[
Come on in lets see how things are going....
They look happy don't they!
Putting your children to work, letting go of control issues, getting a clean and organized pantry even though I am not sure where everything is now, Yep this works for me! :)

Good for you! Great pantry by the way!
I. WOULD. KILL. for a pantry like yours!! And the organizing help as well, most likely! Looks like they did a great job for ya!
Can I have your pantry...I'll even take it messy!!! Mine is a bathroom pantry!! (it's white and really not that bad)
They made it look perfect!!
WOW what a big pantry. Mine is the size of a postage stamp and i have between the counter and oven to get to it. Amamzing!
I am so jealous of your pantry. Jealous. I have a door that open to 3 narrow sheves and they called it a pantry. I am quite certain the builder was a man...they dont think like women. I'd love to meet him and give him a piece of my mind, coupled with some words of advice.
smile.
great job girls! bravo!
I have pantry envy.
I think they did a great job. I can only imagine what I would end up with if I let the boys run wild in a big space like that with those types of freedoms. Maybe in a few years.
That is an awesome pantry...a lot of space, lucky you ;)
And wow they did a great job!!
What a great pantry! And they did a good job.
Child labor...love it! can you send them my way. My kids are broken I think.. they dont work, ugh!
I used to like you. Until I saw your pantry.
Jealousy is an evil emotion.
Do you hire them out for cheap? You are one lucky girl- a craft room and a pantry the size of my house.
You have an awesomely sized pantry! And that's great you can get her to help you with it. Woohoo!!
I've just read two or three blogs al organizing their pantries this week. It makes me want to go peek at mine...
What a great pantry. I am soooooo jealous. You are lucky to have such great workers.

Nice to have enough to organize in there, isn't it? As the holidays approach, I know many are not as fortunate as we are.... Great job, Girls!

I triple love your pantry!!! And, I love your blog design. I'm new around here and I enjoyed looking around! =)
Oh me next! Send them to battle the dust bunnies in my pantry!
Yeah!! That's fantastic! My daughter loves to play with the dust buster, and I let her go with it...if I point out things to her she does a great job, and it's one less thing for me to have to do...being a working mom definitely feels like a juggling act most days!
yeah, its time to start eating out of your pantry Dave Ramsey Style when you need to ORGANIZE it Val ;)
Somehow the work week made me miss this post. Great work by the daughter. Now I have pantry envy.
