Chosen

 

Last Sunday night was out Christmas Musical at Church.  Our expressive worship group performed in between the children and the adult choir (which I really should have been in , but I have missed to many practices.  Life ya know).  Myself and another wonderful lady from Church lead the expressive worship team.  I love helping them with this.  No matter if I am tired and worn out when I get to practice, they normally make me laugh somehow or another.  The name of the group is "Chosen", and the expressive worship consists of drama, movement, and sign language.  This group of teenagers are awesome to work with.  It is such a joy to watch God work through them.

This past Sunday we performed to "Jesus Messiah", by Chris Tomlin.  I wish I had a video, but I did not bring the video camera and I can not find my USB cable for the thing anyway. ~sigh~

Dear Bloggy Friends

I would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers for Mama.  She came out of the second surgery just fine.  They have her in SICU as a precaution.   The doctor wants a nurse to constantly observe her for about 24 hours.  Depending on how she does, she will be able to go to a room then.  As of the 8:30p.m. visit, she was doing fine, just very very groggy.  This of course is to be expected right now.   God has everything under control.  He is so good.  :)

Dear  Friends of Blogland,

Yesterday my mother had some reconstructive surgery done.  This was due to the double mastectomy that she had previously.  That surgery went fine, but with one little hiccup.  The circulation at the site of the mastectomy was not what they wanted it to be so they stopped that surgery to wait about three weeks for the circulation to get better so they could continue.  With all that said she was doing fine last night.  I received a call this morning that she was bleeding from the site of the drainage tubes.  They have rushed her back into surgery and she might even need blood.  Please pray for my Mother and the surgeon and the nurses who will be working on her.  I know God is in control and has her in His hands.

I will update as soon as I can.

EVERYTHING

 

Can you tell me, why is it that we allow things to get in between us and the One True Living God?  He loves us so much!  So much so that He sent His Son to die for us. US!   We don't deserve His grace in our lives, we didn't do anything to deserve His Love and salvation, but He Loves US.  He wants us to be with Him. 

I am not perfect.  I don't claim to be.  I can fall down quicker than I can stand up.  But by Gods grace and His Love and forgiveness, He will lift me up when I fall, when I fail Him.  Oh I will fail Him, everyday, but I strive to live for Him, everyday.  To live each day learning about Him, who He wants me to be, and how I can show that same love to others.  Am I a hypocrite because I say these things and then don't always live up to that?  No, I am human. 

Jesus died so that you could be free.  Free to know His Love, Peace, and Forgiveness.  So why do we allow things to get in between that?  Let God get in between you and the world.  Let Him be your shelter to go to, your protection.   God can help you when you know that something is just not right.  God can fill that hole, that void.   I feel that there is a reason why I am writing this tonight.  Someone needed to read this.  If you are that someone and you want to discuss any of this, e.mail me.  I don't have all the answers, but I will sure try to help you find them.

Well I have two post's that I am working on , but seeing as I left my cable to the camera at home again, they will have to wait until tonight.  So I bring you "Twenty Truths to Remember".  I have this on my desk and several are highlighted, because they seem to fit all the time.

 

TWENTY TRUTHS TO REMEMBER

1. Faith is the ability to not panic.

2. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry.

GOD WORKING THROUGH BLOGS

 

You know what?  I have had a crappy, crappy day today.  There is just so much going on and I don't even know what to say about it.  I probably wont say much, because A: its to exhausting to talk about and think about, and B: I don't want to say something that might make someone upset, or cause drama.

All that said, God works through blogs.  I have made some wonderful friends that I can confide in, and it also seemed that today several of the blogs I read were just what I needed to read.  I am so very thankful for all of you!  You help to keep me going.

Jennifer is a very dear friend and I thank God for her that I can e.mail her and just talk to her and I know she will have some sort of insight or wisdom for me.

The following blogs all had what I like to say was a word from God.  All of the post I read from them seem to talk to me today.  They reassured an unsure soul.
