Thank You Lori and Brandi

For sending us over to Randi's RealityLori asked us to go over there and read about Randi's story.  There was also a video on the site that Brandi highlighted on her blog.

I decided that I also wanted to share the video with you.  I have been wanting to do this at our church for a while now.  Maybe this is the push I need to get it going.

What is your cardboard testimony?

Mine:

looking for acceptance

wanting to fit in

trying to find my way

very insecure

an unwed mother

Now:

Accepted by God and my Church Family

God is my perfect fit

Found my way - He is the light on my path

Secure in my Faith and my Love for Christ

Mother of one of Gods Miracles

What a powerful video, Valarie! That's very neat.

About the wicker, I've just cleaned up old wicker, spray it down with the hose outside if it's really dirty, if not, wipe down good & then give it a nice new coat of spray paint. That works wonders. I've sprayed a lot of wicker.

Thanks for stopping by!

Our church is doing this! Isn't it so amazing how God changes us and gives us so much more than what we saw once upon a time?

My cardboard testimony would be

Repeat offender

Selfish

immature

not thankful enough

(other side)

Loved By A HOLY GOD anyway

Thing is I could Go ON and ON and ON if I really sat and thought about it and my answer would be the same to each thing. God's grace is sufficient. He just loves me anyway. I am so blessed that when He looks at me he sees the righteousness of Christ and not the sinful fleshly person that I am. Praise God for the covering that Jesus has provided for me.

I love that cardboard idea. So many people including myself are afraid to speak in public. Awesome-made me cry.

I thought it was so powerful I added it to my sidebar. Let's keep it going! Our church has around 1100 members-it might take us 2 months to do it, but it would be worth every minute, right?

So great, so powerful, so awe-inspiring. That's God...he gets us when we're least expecting it! Thanks so much for posting this!

Wow, I'm crying. I may have to post this on my blog and see about doing this at our church too.

Hi Valerie!

I don't have time to watch the video tonight, but I heard a rumor that you needed a little bloggy love today.

So here's a big hug, and a wish to feel better soon! :)

I will be back to check out the video.

This is powerful.

MIne:
very insecure
staying in the past
having a problem staying within my means

Now:
accepted by God & my amazing family & friends
found God's calling for me
cherishing the children God gave me to raise & thankful that He has one of them with Him.
