If there ever was a photo that I wish would have never happened, it was this one. I is the perfect storm of teenage awkwardness. It is so bad that I think if Logan had have known this existed he might not have ever talked to me and then we would not be together today. Thank goodness he did not see this until after we had a child and were married.
Brace yourself people, this picture will haunt you forever.
Oh I don't even know if I can show it to you. My sisters make fun of me for this picture. I blame them though, they let me leave the house looking like this.
Ok here we go....
No I just can't. Its so bad, I dream about this awful picture. I could be the poster child for those awkward stages.
Breath in, Breath out, you can do this on the count of three
1, 2, are you sure you really want to see this? Its pretty bad....
Ok fine 3.......
I'll give you a minute to take it all in.......
You better now? Are you up off the floor from laughing?
Here is the breakdown of this perfect storm.....
I told you it was bad.
If you need me I will be over in the corner rocking back and forth.

we all looked awkward when we were young.Me included, but I do not have a scanner for one and I have lost most of my pictures in some of my moving around.
You are a brave, brave woman. I'm sorry, I have to agree with you. That is the epitome of teenage awkwardness. It has it all from the big glasses to the braces. Will you believe me when I say you are still a cutie tho?
Bless your sweet little heart, glasses and braces at the same time. But hey, ya know what? It's what made you the beautiful woman you are today, with bright eyes and straight teeth. :)
Oh. My. How old are you? That is hilarious.
I must get off the floor.
All of that geekiness can't hide your cute face though :)
You only have one of these photos?
I have a box full!!!!!!!! :)
M ^..^
It's a classic.
Hey, at least the little ball earrings perfectly match your add-a-beads.
Oh, yes - we all have that school picture that we wish didn't exist.
Some of us (you!) are just braver than others (me!) and post them for all of the WWW to view! Ha!
I really, really needed a laugh tonight. Especially since I can't sleep. Thank you.
it's little logan as a female in the early 90s.
I'll admit it. I was laughing. But I was laughing BEFORE I saw the photo...you are so funny! Believe me...we ALL have some horrible, awkward teenage photo that we'd love to never have to see again. I know 99.9% of the pictures taken of me from 12-21 I'd love to burn. :o)
I like your add a beads. Broguth back memories. And look at cha now, mzzz beauty!
Oh, you poor thing! It's nice to see that you survived all of that. There really should be a class in school on how to take school pictures that won't haunt you for the rest of your life.
Okay you got me, I laughed my tail off! SORRY! You can hurt me Sunday! But you have to admit it was funny... OMGoodness was it funny!
To see you now and look at that, ROTFLMBO!
Valerie was a geek? You grew into a beautiful woman.. wow...I have a 6th grade picture...that is pretty bad, I was stii missing some teeth too...it's in the year book, I don't think my mom bought any. You know it's bad when your mom doesn't buy your pictures. How do some people escape the awkward stage?
Just surfing through - what can I say, but what my Mom always says - "Bless your heart." You must have been an... an... interesting child.
Oh! Oh my...
The lacy thing in the hair was bad enough.... I'm sorry....
I did my awkward photos last week. It's rather funny (and painful) to look back on them. I think I had the exact same frames for my glasses in one of the pics. Stylin'! ;-)
Oh my goodness, I thought you and Jessie looked the most alike, but this picture is ALL Sydney. Minus the crazy hair, huge glasses, and braces, of course!!
come on.... that ain't so bad!
That is SO funny! I did get a good laugh but I am sure I could top you at that age :)
*snicker* I would slap my sisters now for letting me leave the house like that if I were you! Cute bow!
You failed to highlight the lacy bow as well. :-)
At least you grew out of the awkward phase, b/c looking at your profile pic... you are beautiful now!
Aww... don't feel so bad. Look how nice you look now!
(Ok, I understand dissing big glasses and permed hair, but why do people make fun of add-a-bead necklaces?)
That is sad. I hope you had a good personality (just joking!). You are a brave woman...my hero!
Oh my goodness. I don't have the guts to post my pictures from that age. You were a cutie, but who picked out those glasses?
I'm so, so very sorry, but I feel your pain. Go over and check out my blog and you'll see for yourself. God bless you for being so brave to share such a...uh...um...tragic picture of your past. And yes, I laughed. I'm sorry!
I think you looked FINE for the times! Don't we ALL have a picture exactly like that?
LOL, that looks quite a bit like my old school pictures too!
As the old saying goes, "but she's got a million dollar personality."
Good thing we all don't stay at that stage for the rest of our lives. Because glory knows I wouldn't want to look at myself in the mirror if I looked like I did in Jr/High school.
But look at you now, a beautiful mom with beautiful long & flowing locks.
I must find a picture of me with a bob and a perm. Talk about big hair.
Connie
WOW!! I mean, girl you had it going on. Clearly. I love it!
Love you for sharing it!! Bless your heart, we all have one of those tucked away somewhere! I haven't got the nerve to share my very worst one yet, but soon, very soon!
wow those glasses leave me pretty much speechless *L*
