Duck, Duck, Geese

The other day while in the process of making these....

I heard a familiar, yet far away noise.  It kept getting louder and louder.  Sort of like when a helicopter is approaching.  At first its faint and you are not sure where the sound is coming from, then it gets closer and closer.

Do you see it?

Not the little speck in the middle of the picture, that must be a bug or UFO or something....

Here they are, the Canadian Geese are here!

And some more......

And here is another group (They had their stuff together, they were flying in the traditional "V" formation)......

And more.......

The basically made a circle over our house and then landed somewhere else.  They would have probably landed on our pond and I would have some really cool pictures of that, had someone (Big Logan and Little Logan) not been dove hunting and decided to shoot the gun right as they were going over.  Dadgum Boys!

So I went back to the porch to finish my project and took a couple more pictures of this......

Very pretty! What kind of lense were you using on the last picture? Or, were you using a pre-set setting on your camera?

Hope you guys win your homecoming game tonight, too!

Blessings!
