Fro' Me to You - Oh Kristen,

I believe I might have you beat on some fro pictures.

Its Christmas time and apparently I have asked Santa Clause for every popular gift and fashion of the times. There is so much going on in this picture, well I can't even explain it. Take a look for yourselves.

Y'all know that I like y'all and awful lot for letting you laugh at me like this right?

This is bad, real bad.......

Here it is analyzed...

(apparently I can not spell either. Its supposed to be tongue out. It was late I was tired give me a break. I mean I looked like THAT! Thank You Lisa for telling me, only a sister would.)

Now some of you may notice that I have on a Vandy (University of Vanderbilt) jersey on. I thought this friend of my sister's was really cute and he was playing for Vandy. I do not remember his name. Lisa do you or Kristi know who I am talking about? Yes Kristi I know you are reading this. Kristi is Lisa's best friend and a lurker on my blog. :) I doubt my Daddy was to happy about the jersey, seeing as he is a huge Tennessee fan, but I insisted.

I am concentrating on playing Pac-Man and trying not to get killed by those little ghosties.

Yep, y'all need to be jealous, cause you know I had it goin on.

Oh and one more thing, for those of you still wondering what was in the driveway from a previous post. It was not a stegosaurus, it was the hay bale in the middle of the drive way. If you got it right here is your cookie.

Thanks for the smile. I love the way you point out all that is going on in this picture so that we don't miss a thing. :-) I'd like to add that I like the jogging suit in the background.

Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha. You've come a long way, baaby. You know what you needed? Remember those net looking scarves we had that you just hung around your neck and it came down in the front to about your waist? Put on some skates and you would have been ready- oh yeah, you need a comb in your back pocket. Were you playing Pac Man or table tennis?
If y'all would hang the pictures on the wall you wouldn't have to sit on the floor.

Atari! You rocked!! Is an adoption doll like a Cabbage Patch kid? The hair, the glasses, the ever so desired fold over boots!! I had a baby blue pair if shoes like your sister behind you (sister, right?). Love the track suit. You are awesome for posting this.

I had those boots in black. They were hand-me-downs, about 10 years out of style. I wore them proudly and thought I was "so cool" to have them.

Torture by cookie. OOOH! I want one!

Atari rocked. Didn't matter what we looked like, it was just awesome.

And maybe you did have a wee bit of an awkward stage. I did too. And look at us now, we are.... well, YOU are normal.

Are those curls natural or a force of mom? I have straight hair and I use to have that same hair-do thanks to my mom!

I cannot believe you are brave enough to publish all of those pictures that you grabbed out of my picture box. But I have to say, you were a cute little nerd. Are you coming to get your prize? You really need it before Spooky Day. Maybe to take to work, for candy on your desk. Come on now, aren't you just a little curious?

Lisa said...

Three things....
1. Tongue is not spelled tounge
2. Kristi is not spelled Kristy
3. How come you have a prize waiting at Mama's house and I don't?

Ok. Four things....
How come NOBODY has mentioned Robin's socks!!!!? They are to DIE for.

:) Lisa

Oh yeah. Five things....

I believe you are thinking about Bud Johnson on the Vandy team. However, this would have been before he played for them.

Lisa said...

Sorry. I keep thinking of things.

#6. Its how you look on the inside that counts. You were/are beautiful on the inside. :)

#7 - I believe Robin's "socks" are pantyhose. Probably Mama's Suntan beige Leggs!

I was fixin to ask if I had on panty hose or not and there I am patiently waiting my turn to play the Atari and where is my prize from mama?

Awesome picture! Now, aren't you glad you have it?

Bless your heart, indeed! That is truly a blast from the past picture. LOL! I'm loving the whole look from the Vandy shirt to the fold down boots.

Sidenote: My granddaddy used to play football for Vanderbilt. He jokes that that was the last time they were great.

Seriously? I saw that hay bale and just assumed it belonged there.

Guess it's been too long!
