YOUNG PYROMANIACS

We start them out young here in the South.

See the lighter, see the shell casing?  They were putting the firecrackers down in the shell casing and lighting them.  (Notice I am taking pictures and not stopping them)

They were all into doing this.  They would light them and run.

The Young Pyro's, then all moved to the front yard.  They had better adult supervision out there.  (Yeah right!  The adults were almost as bad as the kids.)

Oh they may look like they are walking up to me innocently, but no they had those popping things in their hands.  They decided that it would be fun to pop me.  :)

Yeah she looks sweet, but don't let her fool you.

This is where they got the bright idea to tie a bunch of fireworks together and light them at one time.  Not so smart.....

Notice we have an adult lighting the fireworks....

I think Syd has the right idea.. You run away from the fireworks

Oh great here we go again!!  This time the boys are gonna light them though.  Boys they really are into blowing things up.

Speaking of blowing things up... See the cutie on the right side of the picture with the blond hair.  The next day he thought it would be cool to put a firecracker down into a really ripe peach and blow it to smithereens.   Peaches went everywhere!

Boys!!!!  :)

Why is it that fireworks + new ideas = B-A-D? I don't know of anyone that has done fireworks without having something blow up or catch on fire. Great memories!!!

Ha! I think I heard The Man and his friends exclaim that 4th of July is their FAVORITE HOLIDAY like 100 times last Friday. :) They blew up an arsenal of stuff.

Valarie-

Thanks for taking time out to look at my headboard project! Love your blog. Somehow, I was the girl who always stayed as far away from the fireworks as possible!

Looks like they all had a great time. I would have been scared to death! Except I would have loved to have seen the peach blow up! Hate peaches anyway. I bet a tomato would explode good too!

hahaha A peach bomb, I love it! Boys are little stinkers (girls can be too) and they LOVE anything that produces flame. I know what I'm talking about, trust me.

Great photos!

I am so sorry, but the peach thing had me just about wetting my drawers!!!

And, hello, what fun are explosions when the sun is still up. If you are gonna blow stuff up, wait till it's dark. Better cover for you to run away in and WAY better viewing possibilities!

C'mon now!!!
