I'm down with OTP

Dear Old Time Pottery,

Why oh why do you taunt me so?  All day long yesterday, something in my head kept saying go to Old Time Pottery.  You knew I would be going on that side of town to pick Logan up from the airport, so you sent me subliminal messages to come to your store.  You are bad Old Time Pottery, bad.  You knew I was on the hunt for faux pumpkins, so you put them on sale at a very wonderful price to get me in your clutches.  Once there you knew that I would fall victim to your row after row of holiday goodness.  Luring me with your cheap prices and bountiful goodness.  Yes you knew what you were doing.  You just did not count on one thing.

You see Old Time Pottery, you did not count on the fact that I have a disorder.  AADD as a matter of fact.  What you don't know what that is?

Adult Attention Deficit Disorder

Yes, you see as you lured me into your store, I was overcome by the vast amount of choices that were offered to me.  So I could not decide, my attention would be here and then there, until I grabbed the precious pumpkins, I had originally went there for and headed screaming out your doors.

Next time I will be more decisive.  I will go in with a list and a friend to hold me accountable.  Next time you will not overwhelm me.   No, next time you will not cause me to fill my buggy up with countless items, to then question my choices before going through the checkout.

You have been warned!

Yours Truly,

The girl who bought all the faux pumpkins, and the ceramic pumpkins and the two little birds, and the finial, and the random set of .75 spoons.

OTP! How I miss it! When I lived in Memphis, there was one at the outlet mall up the road a ways from us. Here in Texas, I haven't found one yet. Garden Ridge tries, but no comparison.

Good luck on your next visit. :)

Oh, my do I miss OTP. I spent many afternoons wandering their ailes when I lived in Nashville. Now, I have to beg my mom for a ride to the one near her in Ohio.

What do you plan to do with all those pumpkins???

Are you having one of those "give aways" with all those great pumpkins? After you decorate them of course.

OTP love the title. We do not have that store anywhere near here. I wish we did! I just love the fall decor too.
Cute post.

Bad part of having a blog- posting about coming RIGHT BY bloggy friends houses and not coming by. I'll try not to cry. Maybe I will just come roll your pumpkin display( with tp not roll them like over or anything)

Oh my gosh. The last time I went in that store I had to take my ADD self back to the car. There was TOO much to look at and the one I went to brought a whole new meaning to re-stocking. People and boxes every where.

Perhaps I should give them another chance. I mean, look at all those COOL pumpkins!

this use to be the ONLY reason that I went shopping down at the beach. An OTP. But now I've got one at my fingertips and I've only been once since it opened. Sigh.

OTP did the same thing to me last week. It;s making its way around like a virus. I came home with 6 of the already carved pumpkins but I am going to go back and get some like yours and let my kids go to town...and they'll have them forever.
