Sunday after Church Syd and L.J. (Little Jessie) decided they wanted to go swimming and lay out. Well that lasted all of about 5 minutes when they jumped in the pool and found it freezing. Logan had to drain some of the water out and add fresh and with the recent rains, it was not as warm as it had been.
Now what are two 14 year old girls to do? They decided to go ride the 4-wheeler in the neighborhood next door that Logan is helping develop. So off they went. I was in my new craft room, being crafty. (here is a sneak peek at something I will be talking about later)...
When I get this phone call...
Syd: Mom, we stopped the four wheeler to look at something, and now it wont start
Me: Does it have gas?
Syd: Yes
Me: Did you check the choke thing? (I know nothing about this kind of stuff, but I have heard Logan ask this before)
Syd: Umm, Yeah
Me: Well I guess ya'll need to get to pushing
Syd: Uh! OK
Now I am not as mean as you think I am. I was not about to let them push that four wheeler on the road alone. So I went and drove behind them with my hazard lights on. This is what I saw when I got there.
Bless their little hearts :)
So they get started pushing....
And pushing....
Until we finally get to our road. Notice how they just let it go.
Well it went straight for the fence.
So at this point they are tuckered out. I think they thought they were going to just leave it there. So I said....
"Why don't you try one more time to see if it will start?"
Guess what?
It did :) To which Syd yelled "You have got to be kidding"
Its a good thing it started, because I would have hated to watch them push that thing up that hill.

thanks for the ride!
How fun!
What a smart momma you are!
Haha, "I would have hated to watch them push it up that hill" ~ yeah, right! You'd have been merrily snapping pictures the whole time!!! And I would have laughed and laughed.
Either way, very entertaining.
Oh bless, I am glad they got it started...
Popping by from Rhea's : )
yay Christmas crafts!!! I was just thinking how I needed to get started on those
Oh that is so funny.... lol! I love it!... now about the hamster, he has a pink and purple cage it would look so good in your room. He naws on his cage all the time, he's so bored!
I want to see pictures of that craft room....mine looks strangely like my kitchen:D
And in case you didn't know--with all that beautiful land and a 4wheeler, you are living my hubby's dream. I'll send him over for awhile,k?
lol! and of course, you went to 'rescue' them with your camera on... :)
I have some ornaments to show. I'll post them soon.
LOL! I love it! I'm sure Sydney didn't, but I got a chuckle. You are a clever mama. :)
LOL I love that you followed them, TAKING PICTURES, while they pushed. That's hilarious.
haha! I think it would be HiLAROUS to watch them push it up the hill.
Valerie, you are such a sweetheart! I just love how you share your life with us all. How cute the girls look in all the photos. I am glad it had a happy ending. :-)
Hugs,
Kimmie

p.s. mom you spellededed jessi's name wrongy! it is J.E.S.S.I,,NOT,,JESSIE.that is your oldestest daughters name.
I have a similar story but it involves a sea doo and the intercoastal waterway. These things build character!
A momma after my own heart! (how did I miss this? I thought I was doing better keeping up but, alas, NO)
And Syd reaction was WAY justified. Poor girls.
