Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. I love freckles. I have a freckle faced little fellow too, nothing warms my heart like a freckled little boy!

My sister had freckles like that when she was young. My dad always called them her "cow spatter" (never mind we lived in suburbia and there weren't any cows in our 'hood) and it made her so, so mad. She stays out of the sun now so they've faded a lot. But, she passed them on to her son. He stayed with us for a couple weeks this summer and I told him the story (she had apparently neglected to pass on this bit of trivia from her past) and he thought is was funny. That's what sisters (and aunts) are for! Ha!
