FRO ME TO YOU - BROTHER AND SISTERS

I have told you all about the fact that there are six of us. I know, I know your thinking how can this world possibly handle more people like me. Well just to make you feel better, I am the weird one of the bunch, the rest of them are pretty normal. Well there is Lisa, but that's another story. :) I'm kidding people, I am the weird one, I think I always have been.

This is a picture that we had taken several years ago to give to our daddy.

From top left to right: Deta, Robin, Jan

From bottom left to right: Lisa, David, and yours truly

allofus

See we look pretty normal.

This past weekend we had a family reunion and we were all there. It is an amazing accomplishment to get us all there at the same time. So in honor of this very momentous occasion, we had our picture made again.

Ta-Da!!!!

Oh wait, Lisa is not in this picture!! Jan and Robin are looking at me like I have lost my mind. My brother David looks like just take the picture already. I think Deta was probably telling Lisa to hurry up and get in the picture.

Ok here she comes. I am still striking a pose! :)

Finally we get the picture. :)

I just love my family! I am so very thankful that I was born into this one. I think God knew they were the only ones that could put up with me. :o)

For more pictures of family and fun go visit Kristen at We are THAT Family. Ya know I think that's why I like her so much, because we are THAT family also.

What a difference a couple years, and a professional photographer, makes! I personally like the series of photos on the grass, way more personality shining through!

The Olan Mills photo was taken by their mom... so they didn't pay much for it. :-)

These are great pictures of all of you, what treasures! And as for the posing, well, that what ALWAYS happens when a camera comes near me. It's not weird at all...(hehehe)

Great family photos.
God only gave my partnes three of us,I guess that is haow many he thought that my parents could handle.

My sister Sandy had to follow me and my cousin Elaine golch in the same Jr.high school.first Elaine and than I terrorised the teachers and poor Sandy caught hell just because her last name was golch.

I hjope that God has blessed you with a great day today.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

LOVE the family photos, then and now. Your poses crack me up!

I love big families. Such fun family-dynamics and interactions. My dad has six kids also (from two different wives) but we're one big family.

I think your so lucky to have all those brothers and sisters!

Oh dear. I had hopes that as my kids got older it would be easier to get them to all pose nicely and smile at the same time for the camera. This post does not give me that hope!!
Looks like you all had a great time!!

Great updated photo of all the gang. We do this every time we all get together, which is not very often since my brother lives in Japan.

Great pictures!! I bet you had an awesome time! I have to admit, I get a little jealous sometimes when I see pix like this and hear people braggin' on their families.... I'm an only child. But at least I married a man with three siblings!

LOL! I just keep thinking "Poor David!" growing up with all those sisters!

Ok, Where Was I? said...

You're a good looking bunch. I feel for your brother growing up--as someone said, that's a lot of female in one house. I had three brothers, no sisters, so I know a little something about that.

I'm talking about you on my blog.

I love the photos. There were five of us kids growing up (but I only have one sibling - now that's a long story!) and getting group photos was always like pulling teeth. Still that way sometimes. And we're all being repaid for it now that we've got kids.

There's always a class clown in every bunch, isn't there?!

I think they are looking at you saying "How does she do that? She looks like a 23 year old! AGE already Valarie. DANG!"

Or maybe what you said.

Y'all are a great looking bunch of bananas!
