MOISTURE, MOISTURE, MOISTURIZE

fightfrumpbutton

I really like lotions. So much so that I have all sorts of them, because I am always trying new ones. Trying to find "the one".

You know the one that smells good, but not overpowering. Feels good, but not greasy. Then most importantly, it should last for a long time before having to reapply.

Well I think I have found "the one", and it does not cost an arm and a leg! Yeah!!!!!

I actually bought this for my hubby to use, but I have since taken it over.

Jergens Shea Butter

JSB

This stuff is great, I put it on and it last all day. I don't feel greasy and it absorbs pretty quickly. My skin has never felt better. I am highly recommending this stuff. So if any of you out there work for the Jergens company, I am willing to take free samples of the stuff.

Go get more Frump Fighting, feel better about yourself tips over at Fussy's.

SORRY SO LONG..YOUR FAULT you caught my attention!!! LOL!

First, I'm not an expert of lotions, however after trying to many to list.
Even the professionaly licensed stuff that you can only by if your an cometologist(ME). I've learned this..what's best for your skin is the stuff that you could "actually EAT"...being the skin is the largest organ in our body, whatever you apply to the outside absorbs to the inside and then produces healthier skin to the outside.

What's exciting is PURE COCONUT OIL ORGANIC from the health food store that you can also cook healthier meals with,is an Highly effective mositurizer that does not have chemicals in it! Your skin can absorb this quickly leaving no trace of greasiness.*GREASE feeling* is that of chemicals you don't want to digest. The last tub brought lasted 4 plus months still have a 1/4 left.
Also use this for the best rub down body massages! Adding pure essential oils "surrender" smells wonderful. Or Lavendar which is a real calmer and has loads of healing qualities.

Anyhow like yourself I love good stuff and wanted to share this with you...So try it out and tell me I was right...

I love being right...giggle, giggle, snort, snort!

I'm not strict and still like using my Joico from RDA, but if you can't eat it..why put it on your outside makes since, still I can't find a good enough hair product that I could eat and stil have great looking hair..but hair's dead so it really shouldn't count anyways?! Right?!

Loved your post about this sis hair, so true so true!

I knew It!!!! I was getting decorating ideas and looked at the one next door to this one months ago. This one was locked and it was a Sunday so I didn't get to go inside. Have you seen the one next door. I took a photo of the embossed faux paint job in the bath and over the mantle.

I love the Jergens Natural Glow self-tanning stuff. Smells okay, and if you start to get a bit too dark, you can skip a few days.

I use J&J Baby Lotion - the one with the vitamins in it. Have been for years and love it. Sometimes, at night I'll put the J&J night time baby formula on - nice lavender smell in it.

I've just started using the Curel line - the "age-defying" one. I have mixed feelings with that one - its a great moisturizer when your skin is dry, but I'm finding that as the temperature warms up, its a bit heavy.

Maybe I'll save the Curel for the winter & my suntan in August, and the Baby lotion the rest of the year

It's so nice when you find a product you like and then you can stick with it happily...until it is discontinued and you have to go through the whole damn process again. lol

My favorite lotion is this wonderful smelling, skin cooling Aloe Vera lotion by Fruit of the Earth. I have a hard time finding it. It's soooooo wonderful and I love the smell. I have a very sensitive nose, so most lotions don't do it for me.

Writing it down....

I use lotion as opposed to perfume. It turns ick on my skin but lotion doesn't.

Have you ever used the stuff with a bit of shimmer? It's pretty nice in the summer too.

My new favorite lotion is the Gold Bond Ultimate Healing. My skin stays SO very dry all the time, but this stuff stays on until my next shower and is not greasy! And it smells good too.

I'm not a huge fan of the shea butter aroma.

Hey Valerie...thanks for the tip on the Jergen's lotion. I am always trying different ones and have not found "the one" yet. Hopefully this will be it. :-) I also wrote down the Jergen's self tanning that Jane mentioned also. I don't always get in the sun these days, but like to have some color. I have tried some of the other brands but had streaks and such. Hopefully this one will be nicer.
Hugs,
Kimmie
